Forged in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne, Australia,Harlott isthe finest example of the thrash metal genre in recent years.Taking their influence from the 80’s bay area thrash scene, andblending it with the Teutonic melody and grit, they focus on highenergy, up tempo music with lyrical influence from war, religion,chaos, and the human condition. Unrivaled live concerts, anaggressive recognizable sound, clinical musicianship, and a classic“Aussie” sense of humour have earned Harlott a strong and dedicatedfan base, which continues to grow day to day. Harlott’s debutrelease Origin blew audiences away with its unrelenting speed,ferocious sound, and hook driven riffs. Their follow up release,Proliferation, only proved that the band means business, and couldnot only match their own fury, but even surpass it. Few bands candraw with versatility and ease from such prolific sources andmanage to make a sound of their own, and yet Harlott carve withtheir own style a raw and gritty experience that is captured whollyin their studio releases. A fistful of national shows acrossAustralia saw them support some of the finest acts that manage thelengthy trek down under. With the local scene vanquished, theydeparted for a European tour with Canada’s Annihilator, and blitzedtheir way across 19 countries on an unrelenting 6 week rampage.
