Following an European Tour with Holy Moses, Warpath entered thestudio again to reccord their second album, Massive. The bandexpanded their sound and now played thrash metal with New Yorkhardcore and death metal elements. The release of the title songproved to be a success for the band, because Massive was on heavyrotation in numerous metal clubs and made the necks of a lot ofmetalheads hurt. The cover version of Carnivores Race War wasanother big step for Warpath. The song by Pete Steele, late frontman of Type O Negative, was already received with mixed results,when it was originally released in the 80s, because a lot of peopledid not get the message or didnt listen to the lyrics properly.Massive was better received by the metal press than the debut
