Rezet’s 2019 album, Deal With It, is the bands most diversealbum to date, fans will be particularly impressed by the wealth offacets that the band gains from classic metal. Deal With It farexceeds the previous Thrash framework and shows Rezet as a matureband in all respects. The album was produced by none other thanEike Freese at the Hamburg Chameleon Studios. Now in their 16thyear, Rezet are a German speed and thrash metal band hailing fromSchleswig Holstein and Deal With It is their fourth full albumrelease, after numerous demos and EPs. Have Gun Will Travel (2010),Civic Nightmares (2012) and Reality Is A Lie (2016) being theprevious album releases. The early metal influences are apparentfrom the Big 4 (Megadeth, Metallica, Slayer, Anthrax), but Rezethave found their own sound which occupies a place that acknowledgestheir forebears but with their own touches to make a quite stunningalbum. You could also include moments from Overkill, Exodus andAnnihilator as well just for good measure. But when you mix a potwith all the vital ingredients that we love about thrash metal,then the final dish served up will only be amazing. Rezet have madea quite fantastic album here that offers so much on many levels.There is an originality to their sound whilst also nodding heavilyto the bands that made them follow thrash metal music in the firstplace.
