The latest incarnation of Terry Butler onbass and Kenny Andrews on guitar is tight . Donald is excellent ondrums as always and John can still pack a guttural punch at theripe old age of 54. Part of the allure of Obituary has always beentrying to decipher John’s lyrics and here he sounds cleaner.Obituary’s legendary record performed live in its entirety. Itsreally shows that Obituary is one of Death Metal’s most ripping andunrelenting bands. Obituary proves that over 30 years later, theyare still at the top of their game. I would also recommend theirlive album entitled Dead, because it has the original line-upperforming in their prime .
