For Gift of Gods, Nocturno turns his hand to tracks ofpure heavy metal excellence, taking in a vast array of influencesfrom decades past to concoct a special whirlwind of melodic riffingand headbanging anthems on this 30 minute heavy metal pilgrimage.Receive also features a rendition of Looking For an Answeroriginally by obscure Swedish 80s band, Universe. A labour of loveover several years since its initial inception, Nocturno performsall instruments himself and has also been responsible for recordingthis mini-album at his own studio. Receive was mixed and masteredby Jack Control at Enormous Door, having recently worked withNocturno on Darkthrones The Underground Resistance.
