From the western shores of Norway came Infernal Manes, a bandmade up of members from Deathcult, Taake, Gaahlskagg, and Dead ToThis World among others. The band came together to deliver pureheavy metal to the selected hordes who still swore oath to theglory days. The band released one cult demo, Battle Of Souls, backin 2004 and that demo was released on a limited vinyl in 2015, onmetal veteran Iscariah (Immortal, Necrophaghia) own label. Formedin the mid ’90s, the band played a handful of exclusive shows andquickly gathered a diehard following in the darkest corners of theunderground. Cloaked in the veil of NWOBHM and early hard rock actssuch as early Scorpions, Judas Priest, Mercyful Fate, Manilla Road,Accept, and Iron Maiden, Infernal Manes recorded several demosbefore they finally recorded a professional recording in a studioin 2004. Shortly after that recording, vocalist TJ Cobra partedways with the band, but the legacy of this now-cult recordingfinally sees the light of day on vinyl in a remixed version,sounding the way it was meant to be: take heed and join us in theBattle Of Souls.
