Hailing fromSweden, Rising had been one of the most cult 80’s bands, havingreleased one highly collectable 7” single back in 1982 on thelegendary Pang Records. The band released a few demos after thesingle and despite their fantastic compositions and overall greatsong writing they did not get to release a full length studiorelease. The band was formed in Vänersborg in 1980 and after thesingle they organized their first full tour (1983), and the finalshow in their home town was recorded professionally. Theserecordings have only been collecting dust until now though, butthanks to this cassette release the world will finally have thechance to hear this live concert for the first time. This must-havetape of pure live Swedish Heavy Metal also comes with liner notesfrom original drummer Lars Berger.
