ABOUT THE MOVIE

The Man Who Knew Too Much is a 1956 American suspense thriller film directed and produced by Alfred Hitchcock, starring James Stewart and Doris Day. The film is Hitchcock's second film using this title following his own 1934 film of the same name featuring a significantly different plot and script.

PLOT

A real thriller, first of a full collection of successfully agent movies which fixed the popularity of Hitchcock and opened him the door to Hollywood. it is the only British movie which the director decided to produce a second time in America in the year of 1955.

The Family Lawrence spent their holidays with their daughter in St Moritz. While on holiday the Lawrence accidentally became involved in murder and intrigue when an undercover secret service agent whispers to one of them the whereabouts of a vital message in the moment he is caught by the bullet of a gun.

The criminals who killed the agent kidnap Lawrences daughter to make sure that Mr Lawrence will not reveal anything. Family Lawrence must go back to London in the search of their daughters
