On top of the doll is a Lotta-Svärd outfit, as well as an S armband.
Lotta Svärd was a Finnish national defense support organization based on women's volunteerism that operated between 1920 and 1944. The organization was founded to support conservation municipalities. During the war years 1939–1944, the lotas worked in numerous different types of activities supporting national defense and freed approximately 25,000 men for military duties. The organization was abolished based on the terms of the Moscow Armistice at the request of the Allied Control Commission in 1944.
