My Three Sons is an American sitcom. The series had a long run, from 1960 through 1972. ABC broadcast the show from 1960 through 1965, and then the series moved to CBS until the end of its run on April 13, 1972. My Three Sons chronicles the life of widower and aeronautical engineer Steven Douglas (Fred MacMurray) as he raises his three sons.


Stanley Bernard Livingston is an American actor, best known for playing Richard "Chip" Douglas, the third son of Steve Douglas on the long-running television series My Three Sons.

Stanley Livingston was born on November 24, 1950 in Los Angeles, California, USA as Stanley Bernard Livingston. He is an actor and producer, known for My Three Sons (1960), Attack of the 60ft Centerfolds (1995) and The Aftermath (1982). He has been married to Paula Drake since December 19, 2015. He was previously married to Sandra Livingston.
