Tajemstvy Noczy is the fourth album from the atmospheric blackmetal phenomenon from the Belarusian swamps. Vietah is a one manproject by a man calling himself Antarctis, an artist hailing fromthe city of Gomel situated in the southeastern part of Belarus,close to the Ukrainian border. In a state where the politicalregime (in conspiracy with the church) does not look lightly uponmetal-extreme metal in particular-and takes every chance tocounteract or shut down everything not fitting their agenda, Vietahhas managed to stay active for ten years, releasing four convincingfull-length albums to date. Antarctis handles all instrumentshimself and delivers some really desperate vocals sung in theBelarusian language, giving his creations a unique touch – the folksoul of the Belarusian people permeates through Vietah’sincantations.
