Iron Maidens 2020 live album Nights Of The Dead - Legacy Of TheBeast was recorded in Mexico City during the band´s three sold outarena shows there in September 2019 and it contains over 100minutes of classic Maiden music. Iron Maiden founder and bassplayer Steve Harris comments;
When the final leg of our 2020 Legacy tour that summer had to becancelled due to the Covid pandemic, the whole band was verydisappointed and deflated and we know our fans felt the same. We´dbeen really looking forward to bringing the show to even morecountries. So when we know got some extra time we thought we´d takea listen to the recordings from the tour so far and see if we couldcreate a definitive live album souvenir that everyone, everywherecould enjoy. I´m very pleased with the results, especially as thisset list includes songs which have never made it to a live albumbefore, such as For The Greater Good Of God, and other older songslike Where Eagles Dare, Flight Of Icarus, The Clansman and Sign OfThe Cross which haven´t been included in our live set releases formany years. We´ve never released a live album from Mexico beforeand I think this recording does justice to the passion and joy ofour Mexican fans who always give us such a fantastic welcomewhenever we play there.
