Studio album from the 18th of september 2001. Natalie mcintyre eh? Coming in with a grammy under her belt, whatever that adds up to, macy gray gives what i feel could have been her most real record. Though, in case you d not know, this album happened to be a commercial flop. Empiricists studying this over the years to find a reason came up with this: it was released a few days after september 11, 2001. I suppose not a whole lot of people were into going out and buying music at this time in our history. Undeniably macy gray is good at what she does. Her albums are smooth and worth checking out. I cannot say i was let down for i did not go in with any expectations. I still think frusciante should have laid down some blazing solos over some random vocal arrangements (especially on harry where there is somewhat of a bass line for him to grab onto), but that is just me.
