Beer!Metal! Sex! If these Japanese black thrashers had a war cry, thiswould be it. Self described as the most evil band in Japan Abigailformed in January 1992 by Yasuyuki (Bass/Vocal), Youhei (Drums) andYasunori (Guitar). They were influenced by early black/thrash metalbands like Bathory, Venom, Sodom, Hellhammer, NME, Bulldozer etc.Since their first demo in 1992 Abigail’s output has beenphenomenal. Their first full length album, Intercourse And Lust,was released back in 1996 and it has a raw aggressivness to it. Theriffs are all very thrashy yet retain a black metal feel to them.The vocals are insane as it very high pitched and raspy. HailYakuza is a seven minute long track that incorporate lots of stufffrom Japanese culture, like sounds from samurai movies. Overall itfeels like a tribute to their homecountry. If you like extrememetal then check this out. Its thrash, speed and black inone.
