Danish metal act Defecto’s dive intothe metal scene has been fast and even frantic at times. Only ayear after the release of their debut album, they supported actslike Metallica and Rammstein. They sold out headlining tours inDenmark and played on successful tours throughout Europe. Theyperformed at large festivals both in- and outside Denmark andamassed several million streams. Few metal bands in Denmark haveachieved such progress in such a short amount of time. The band hasbeen the most promising addition to the Danish metal scene sinceVolbeat. Duality is the bands third album and it was released in2020. Taking inspiration in the duality of life, the band usestheir sonic diversity to create a seamless mix including both theexplosive and the atmospheric. Duality is the combination of lightand dark, and the culmination of what Defecto standsfor.
