By the time he turns 18, he's become their leading concept artist - the first specialized character designer in the anime industry. He'll design Gathaman (Battle of the Planets), of whom Alex Ross has said, "They belong among the pantheon of great characters." He'll design MOSPEADA , known to millions of international fans as the third part of Robotech. And with director Mamoru Oshii (Ghost on the Shell), he'll design The Angel's Egg, one of the most mysterious anime films ever made.
