3 Beautiful figurines, mid 20th century, Budapest Hungary
Elegant and stylish, made prior to 1948, Aquincum Budapest porcelain, female nudes. Very nicely hand decorated. The sculptures are from the Aquincum Porcelain Factory of Budapest, Hungary. Founded in 1854 by Tivadar Hüttl. Until 1948 the sculptures were marked with the blue eagle and Budapest. The porcelain sculptures are famous for the design and their beauty, and are known as collector’s items.
This figurines are in excellent condition. At the bottom, the statue is marked with the blue eagle known to connoisseurs, the name of the factory and the city of Budapest. The sculptures are 22-34cm tall and approx 14-17cm wide.
They are sold as a set.
